Solomon
- Solomon was David's and Bathsheba's son. When David was very old, there was trouble between his sons about who would be the next king. David asked Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet to anoint Solomon with oil before the royal court to show everyone that Solomon was the chosen successor. Solomon would become a fabulously wealthy and wise king of Israel.

Baby
- Two mothers living in the same house came to see King Solomon. One of the babies had died and both women claimed to be the mother of the remaining boy. Solomon called for a sword and ordered the baby to be cut in two so each woman could get half. One woman begged the king to give the baby away but the other woman thought the king's decision was fair. Solomon declared the first woman to be the true mother as she was prepared to give up her son rather than see him harmed.

The Temple was later destroyed during King Nebuchadnezzar's invasion.
