Matthew
- Matthew was one of the disciples. He was also known as Levi. Matthew worked as a tax collector but gave up his job to follow Jesus.

Disciples
- The disciples were a group of people picked by Jesus to work with him during his ministry. They were an odd mix of men from different places and with various jobs and skills. After Jesus ascended into heaven, they went out into the world to share his message.

Coins
- Like Zacchaeus, Matthew was a tax collector for the Roman authorities. Tax collectors often over-charged their clients so they could keep the extra money for themselves. For these two reasons, tax collectors were very unpopular with the local community. When Jesus met with other tax collectors at Matthew's house, many people complained.
