Joshua was Moses' assistant and became leader of the Israelites after Moses died. He was born in Egypt before the Exodus (escape). Joshua and his friend Caleb were the only Israelites who left Egypt to enter the Promised Land. All the other evacuees had died in the desert and a new generation had grown up.
This part of Joshua's story is found in Joshua, chapter 1, verses 1 to 9 and Numbers, chapter 32, verses 10 to 12.
Joshua appears in our Babble.on and Ballyhoo! games.

Moses sent 12 spies, one from each tribe, into the land of Caanan to scout it out. The spies checked the countryside and the towns; and brought back a bunch of grapes so big that it took two men to carry it on a pole between them. Although the land was rich, the towns were well fortified. Ten of the spies brought back a negative report but Joshua and Caleb said they should go and take it.
This part of Joshua's story is found in Numbers, chapter 13, verses 1 to 33.
Grapes are also found in the stories of the Royal Butler's dream, Isaiah's song about a vineyard and Nehemiah watching the people bring in the harvest.
Grapes do not appear in any Lootro game yet but watch this space for news.

The spies agreed to protect Rahab and her family when they returned to take the city.
This part of Joshua's story is found in Joshua, chapter 2, verses 1 to 24.

For six days, Joshua led his men one full circuit of the walls of Jericho. The priests blew trumpets and marched in front of the Ark of God but the army remained silent. On the seventh day, they marched round seven times. On the seventh time, the trumpets blew and the crowd roared. The walls collapsed and the Israelites charged in and took the city. Joshua sent two men to rescue Rahab and her family.
This part of Joshua's story is found on Joshua, chapter 5, verse 13 to chapter 6, verse 27.
Trumpets and horns are also found in the stories of Moses' summoning the tribes and Gideon's special army.
